2026 BETA National Convention

National Beta members from Tunstall High recently participated in the 2026 National Beta Convention held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Our students joined over 9000 Beta members from across the United States to celebrate academic achievement, leadership, character, and service while competing in a variety of national competitions. During the convention, members from Tunstall High School earned recognition in the following events:
• Noah Williams 12th Grade Science Academic Test 4th Place
• Robert Rossman IV 11th Grade Science Academic Test 3rd Place
• Carey Dallas 11th Grade Language Arts Academic Test 5th Place
• Katelyn Louhoff 10th Grade Social Studies Academic Test 5th Place
• Brodie Buchanan 10th Grade Math Academic Test 7th Place
• Isabella Wilkerson Division 1 Woodworking 9th Place
• Marketing and Communications (Carey Dallas, Brady Austin, Tesla Vargas) 4th Place
• All the World Is a Stage (Noah Williams, Carey Dallas, Brodie Buchanan, Robert Rossman IV, Brady Austin, Clara Mills, Tesla Vargas, and Katelyn Louhoff) 1st Place
National Convention provides opportunities for students in grades 4-12 to showcase their talents through individual and team competitions, leadership experiences, service initiatives, networking opportunities, and educational programming. The annual event brings together top-performing students who have advanced through state conventions and earned the opportunity to compete on the national stage.
The 2026 National Beta Convention, themed "Wired for Success," welcomed thousands of attendees for a week of competition, celebration, and student achievement.
Ms. Watson and myself could not be prouder of these fantastic BETA’s who represented Tunstall High and Pittsylvania County on a National Stage, excelling as both individuals and as a collaborative team. True Trojan Pride!
