On Thursday, May 8, Pittsylvania County Schools held its Annual Graduate of Merit Ceremony, celebrating the outstanding achievements of 83 students alongside their families, friends, educators, and community members.
This year marks the 26th anniversary of the Graduate of Merit program, which has recognized nearly 3,000 exceptional students since its inception. A total of $96,750 in scholarships was awarded this school year.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all Graduates of Merit and offer special recognition to our 2025 Pinnacle Award Winner, Brady Owen Slattery of Tunstall High School.
